I Never Had a Name.
That's right, I never had a name and now I'm all smelly!
Look at me, I'm so pretty and cute but the little girl who "owned" me never named me.
She was a bit spoiled anyway and had way too many dolls. Of course most of them at least had names. Sheesh. She did like me and always kept me in very good condition. Although I seem to be missing an elastic band for one of my braids. But that's the least of my problems.
You see, I got caught in a flood and now have a moldy smell. The worst part? The grown-up lady is allergic to mold and keeps me in a Rubbermaid container with a few other smelly keepsakes. It's one nasty smell-o-ramma in here!
I'm too cute and precious for this crap! But what's a doll to do?
Here's my plea: Convince this lazy lady to give me a bath! If your comment persuades her to wash me, then you'll win this adorable handmade Blue Teddy Bear Glycerin Toy Soap!
(I hear she has another doll that needs a washing too.)

LOL! Hey! I'm not THAT lazy.
Okay, maybe I am.
But it's the allergies - really!
I canNOT believe that Drowsey STILL hasn't had a bath!...and now THIS!??? OMG....dirty dirty dirty!
LOL!
I didn't know Drowsery had a sister !
I think you should talk the Grown up lady's big sister so she can take you out of the container and give you a real bath !
Ack ! Me and my sloppy typing ! I meant 'Drowsey'.
LOL
May make a suggestion to Drowsey - if she spent less time 'twittering' with that Olga brawd about vibrating phones and the amount of alcohol consumed before breakfast and attended to her chores a tad more then the dolls in her household might be 'nicer' to know. Stains and smells are 'bad' - did she learn nothing from Clinton? I would suggest that she sits down on the naughty step and has a think about what she's done .... or rather , what she hasn't done.
Anyone who has her face posted for the world to see needs a bath.
But, at least we can't smell her! Although I heard they're working on that for computers. :| Then you'll have to give her a bath.
she is looking in good shape but 'smelly dolls' are not good.
Droweys do you know dolls can plot and scheme and get you in the night (that is what my teen tells me anyway ... all her dolls are locked in a toy cupboard)
so I would give her a good old soak in some yummy bubbles or it could turn nasty

Has there been a directive that all comments should be left in duplicate?

How could you lock her up with that nasty smell? Poor little dolly! Just hold your breath while (whilst) you shove her in the washing machine hahahaha!
Oh my you are keeping alive doll in the rubbermaid container, shame. lol....you have, really to have to clean her up, try GSE Grapfruit seed extract. Mold is some kind of mashroom, I think, you have to kill it before it will eat your doll alive.
Interesting site, lol..
Anna :)
She doesn't look that dirty to me. But her hair does need a deep conditioning treatment. ;-)
Why not just throw her out? She's long past her sell-by date. It's not as if she's a precious and valuable antique.
OH, sorry, I'm supposed to give the lady advice about the doll, not the doll about the lady.
Oh Val! That iz prolly the funnyest comment I hav hurd in a reely looooooong tym! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!
Yoo arr SO rite Pagan! The poor doll needs the FULL treetment!

Good idea Jaffer...maybee yoo cud convince that lazee laydee on Twitter?
It's unfathomable, izn't it Olga?
HEY! It's HER!!!! Wash the doll wood ya? (hee-hee)
Luckily I've lost my sense of smell *grumph*
Standards are falling *double grumph*
Luckily I've got my own girlfriend now ...........
YOU have a girlfriend now Grumpy Ted? Is it Violet the Burlesque Dancer?
It's Geraldine actually.
I showed this post to Sue tonight .. as it was about a doll....
well I tell you she was distraught. She ranted on & on about how could a 'kudler' put a doll in a tupperware box and let her decay. It was all I could do to stop her getting on the blower to report Drowsey Monkey to the Doll Authorities .... all is calm here now (thank goodness)and Sue is having a nice lie down after I had told her that BB is running this competition and that poor doll with no name will be saved ....sheesh Drowsey ...
All my childhood toys got thrown out because of a flood ... they got wet and moldy :(
I miss George, my poodle toy I to from my Uncle George when I was about 5 :(
Here's some doll-advice. :) Unfortunately mouldy smell is really hard to get rid of, and most likely bath won't do the trick. Fear not though! There's a bunch of tricks that should work. I haven't tried this myself, because these are not available but my American colleques recommend putting the doll into a container with some Febreze sheets. Apparently they're really good. You might find some other odour neutraliser products that may help, that's how I saved my Magic Moves Barbie with the same problem. It may take some time though to fully deodorise.
Good luck. (Btw, a bath still won't hurt!)
Now that Sue (http://myoldbear1.blogspot.com/2008/10/girl-named-sue.html ) has settled down now after the initial shock of this post ... she has suggested a long warm (not hot) bath with plemty of smelly stuff, (she has loads after Christmas so if you need some she has some to spare). A dry out by a warm radiator and a rub down with a good aroma therapy oil wiped off later with a soft cloth.... don't shoot the messenger I am just passing on the message ...
very funny val.
Anyway, I'm allergic to her! allergic!
Like, I could die or something, sheesh.
Well...maybe not die but it would be very unpleasant.
Hang Drowsey & Stinky "NoName" out on the clothes line, in the sun, for a couple of days... may help
At last - a good idea! - well said Lala
Okay DP you just did it to me again. I had a really nice thought out plea and then you appeared.
Wooshhhh right outta' the ole brain that thought went.
Sorry little dolly with no name but it's that's grumpy guy's fault.:)
Emmmmmmmmm..........speaking of Grumpy and all of you bears actually, I have a little something for you.
And it's just perfect for the season.
